From Bust to Field General.

This Picture is worth a 1000 words. Alex Smith was many things before coming into the 2011 season. Some say we gave him too many chances, some say he wasn’t worth it, some say he couldn’t do this and he couldn’t do that, plain and simple most people said he was a bust! But what few noticed was he was a fighter and had a great worth-ethic. Coach Jim Harbaugh gave him what both Mike Nolan and Mike Singletary couldn’t give him and that was a consistent offensive system/game-plan and confidence! Harbaugh was the x-factor that Alex needed, just look at their relationship during pre-game. When Harbaugh pats him down and slaps his helmet, you see Alex smile light up because he knows he’s doing what he loves to do which is playing the game of Football. Not like the previous coaches who yelled at him and treated him like a 12 year-old. Ever since that October night against the Philadelphia Eagles last season, when most of Candlestick Park booed Alex Smith and chanted “We Want Carr”, Alex Smith has stepped up his game and has been a consisted Quarterback. You know what you’re going to get with Alex. And here is to you Alex Smith.. You outran the critics and you proved them wrong. Took 7 years but your career as resurrected. One game away from the Super Bowl and we believe in you. Forever Faithful.
